Automation Engineer required for Leading Games company.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining scripts to automate testing of an online game.

The role will report into the Automation Team Lead, and will focus on automating manual tests across the product suite. This role is very much a software development position, and will involve working closely with the Client and Server Development Teams to identify and implement tools to be used in software testing.

Responsibilities:
• Responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining automation tests for the QA team
• Interact with development leads and managers to ensure that automation tools can interact with development code
• Help identify new approaches to automating, and identify new tools that can help automate remaining manual tests
• Writing automation design documents and operational guides, and also assisting in the writing of Test Plans/Procedures

Skills / Experience Required:
• 4+ years experience in test automation / software development
• Experience with other automation tools such as Squish / QTP / SilkTest highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of a scripting language such as Python or Perl
• B.Sc. in Computer Science or related discipline
• Experience with Mac automation highly desired
• Possess a proven track record of developing tools for automation of QA processes
• Fluency in the English language

• Experience of Quality Center
• VB Script experience an advantage
• 3+ years with Enterprise applications

• TCP/IP, Database Programming, ODBC, SQL
