Banking Business Analyst long term contract
New role being created by leading global banking with Dublin city centre location for an experienced BA who is experienced in analyzing, defining and prioritizing business requirements, functional specs for highly complex strategic, global programs.
Leading the definition of program scope and objectives for key functional areas across business, operations and technology by thoroughly understanding business processes in each business domain.

Working in the capital markets industry; securities, custody, alternative investments (hedge funds/derivatives), clearance, accounting, cash processing, reporting and/or brokerage areas.

Working on large-scale mission-critical projects with minimal guidance.

Role / opportunity:
• Business Analysis
• Business area: Capital markets, securities, custody, hedge funds, derivatives, clearance, accounting, cash processing, brokerage areas.
• Initial strategy/planning and scope definition through to process design, requirements development, testing, training and implementation.
• Elicit, challenge, and prioritise requirements
• Translate requirements into functional design and use case documents
• Develop project scope, objectives, constraints and assumptions for large, strategic projects.
• Participate in the development of the technical design, test plans, user documentation and
• Implementation strategy
• Use case modeling, business process modeling
• Functional and UAT test planning, test case development and execution
• Manage issues and risks for on a large-scale project

Skills / experience:
• 6+ years commercial experience in a BA role
• Experience with best-in-class methods, tools and techniques for elicitation and documentation of client needs and associated requirements.
• Experience of use case modeling, business process modeling
• Using tools such as RequisitePro
• Analyze client requirements, monitor project progress, manage issues and risks, identify potential roadblocks and keep projects on track.
• Experience producing detail-level functional requirements documentation
• Formal requirements elicitation techniques, such as workshop facilitation with senior stakeholders.

Daily Rate:
• €400-430 per day
