Build Automation Engineer
Opportunity to join an exciting and unique software organisation in a Build and automation role with a heavy emphasis on scripting and automation of all possible processes is the goal. The main aim of the role is to continuously improve the build infrastructure by scripting automation solutions through Perl / BASH / Shell / PHP / Python.

Role / opportunity:
• Build automation
• Chance to join an experienced build team
• Automation of all repeatable processes
• Significant levels of scripting through BASH or (KSH, Perl, Python etc)
• Working with Ant
• Working with tools such as; Cruise Control, Make, Maven which you may not have prior experience with
• Managing multiple Linux environments
• Improve the continuous build infrastructure
• Help to develop in-house continuous integration system to deliver fast and accurate results on a range of hardware platforms
• Develop automated solutions to increase efficiency and quality of product release process

Skills / experience:
• 5+ years commercial experience
• 3+ years experience of Build
• Strong scripting skills with Perl or BASH or Shell or PHP or Python
• Strong Linux skills
• Appetite for variety and willingness to take on any challenge
• Experience with build and automation tools like Cruise Control, Make, Maven and Ant would be helpful but not a prerequisite

Package:
• 40-60K base salary + excellent benefits package including bonus
