Business Analyst Fund Accounting
Excellent opportunity to join a world leading fund management company based in Dublin city centre. This corporate has a major Dublin based operation which offers excellent career progression opportunities. This role is working with the business users to gather and analyse the business requirements for business critical applications to be design and built. You need to have a strong understanding of the mutual fund accounting and be able to act as a business analyst while having an appreciation of the IT behind the systems.
Role / opportunity:
- Business analysis and system analysis
- Working in the investment accounting and mutual fund industry
- Gathering analysing and challenging business requirements
- Helping to design and implement new business systems
- Working extensively with Excel
Skills / experience:
- 5+ years commercial experience
- 3 + years working in the mutual funds industry
- Proven requirement gathering and business analysis skills
- Exposure to Visual Basic, Excel, VBA, Access would be a bonus
- Confident in writing sound Excel formulas and familiar with ?if? and ?and? statements (including ?nested if? statements)
- Knowledge of combining objects with formulas using vlookups, ifs, sumifs, and/or functions would be beneficial
