Business Analyst Fund Management
New contract Business Analyst position for an experienced BA to work with a leading global investment bank and fund manager. This contract is focused on a major core business system which is to be extended and rolled out across all international business units in a high profile initiative.
Working closely with international development teams and BA’s as well as a large Dublin based user group.
As this is a particularly high profile initiative and will involve extensive executive level interaction it is very likely to lead to contract extensions and further projects in the longer term.
This role requires strong requirement gathering skills at all levels, a determined character, knowledge of Capital Markets, Investments or Funds, intimate knowledge of the software development life cycle and a proven ability to get the job done.

• Working with developers through the software development life cycle
• Enhancing and extending a core business application
• Rolling out extended business application across new business units
• Managing changes and amendments to existing systems

Skills / experience:
• 5+ years commercial Business Analysis experience
• Experience in Capital Markets or Investment Banking or Funds or Custody or Treasury
• Exposure to core banking systems
• Strong requirement gathering skills
• Must be able to clearly document and organise user requirements.
• Proven track record as a business analyst on at least one large-scale systems project.
• Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle, especially:- Analysis, requirements gathering, specification development, modelling and application testing phases.
• An understanding of Fixed Income products e.g. Asset Backed Securities, Corporate Bonds, Commercial Loans, RMBS or CMBS would be an advantage
• Understanding of Swaps, FRAs, MTN’s or Commercial Paper would be an advantage

Contract Rate:
• Circa €400 - €420 per day
