Business Consultant Accounting Background

Contract opportunity for an experienced tier one management consultant at a Senior Consultant or Manager level with a finance/Accounting background. The initial project is leading a review of the OtoC (Order to Invoice and Order to Cash) processes in an Oracle ERP environment.

As an external consultant your role will be to gain a thorough understanding of the requirements of the business and build a detailed design of the financial business process. You will be developing the blueprint for the business to work within the centralized group and making suggestions as to which activities should be transitioned into a Shared Services function.

Role / opportunity:

  • Senior Consultant / Manager level role
  • Accounting background / qualification
  • Order to Invoice and Order to Cash review
  • Process optimisation & BPR (business process re-engineering)
  • Report on suggestions for making use of a Shared Services opperation
  • Process optimisation
  • Initially a 3 month contract which is highly likely to extend

Skills / experience:

  • 6+ years Management Consulting
  • Strong Finance Accounting and particularly Order to Cash experience
  • Business Process Redesign / Business Process Management (BPM/BPM)
  • Oracle ERP experience is of interest
  • Shared Services experience is a bonus
  • Process optimisation skills
