Client facing Database Developer

Excellent new position with a leading international software company with a major Dublin city centre operation has an urgent need for an experienced relational database developer who also has java skills. Working in this client facing role you will have the chance to lead the integration of complex enterprise products into large corporations. You will have the chance to architect and lead the building of integration components in a fast paced time dependant project driven environment.

Role / opportunity:

  • Relational database design and development (Oracle, DB2, SQL Server)
  • Java Development, configuration of application Servers (XML, Websphere, Weblogic, Jboss)
  • Work with clients to understand needs and technical environment
  • Define and lead customisation necessary for successful integration
  • Be the customer main point of contact for technical liaison

Skills / experience:

  • 8+ years experience working with RDBMS; Oracle, DB2, SQL Server
  • Solid experience with Java, J2EE, XML, Websphere, Weblogic or Jboss
  • Proven experience in a client facing role
