Cognos 8 Consultant contract

Initially a 1 month contract as a proof of concept which is embedding Cognos 8 BI within an IT administration tool to act as the reporting function. Working hand in hand with network and administration engineers to bridge the technical challenges.

You will need to be a strong technical consultant with excellent Cognos 8 experience and have a keen interest in breaking new ground on the use of BI reporting.

Role / opportunity

  • Cognos 8 consultant
  • Working with Framework Manager modelling tool
  • Acting as the BI specialist in the embedding of Cognos Reporting
  • Contract role initially for 1 month and expected to extend

Skills / experience:

  • 5+ years Cognos BI experience
  • Framework Manager modelling tool
  • Meta data modelling
  • Knowledge of; Cognos 8 Query Studio, Analysis Studio, Report Studio
  • Installation and configuration
  • Server components
  • Modelling components
  • Strong experience of Architecture and Planning
  • Cognos 8 over TM1 (multidimensional database engine) as a data source
