My client, a global IT company with offices in Dublin, currently has 2 open vacancies for Core Systems Analysts. One of the roles is Dutch speaking, the other is English speaking.

The main responsibility is to resolve remote users IT problems of both internal and external users by means of a Remote fix

Main Responsibilities:

Validate customer entitlements and give high level technical support through information gathering, analytical trouble shooting and problem research.

- Complete follow-on actions as appropriate, e.g. dispatch materials, send communications, escalate problems.
- Retain ownership of each case until problem is resolved or resolution is identified
- Observe strict compliance to licensing, copyright and trademark legislation
- Protect confidential, sensitive information and material


Requirements:

Customer oriented, enthusiastic, courteous, assertive, and motivated to take charge of both customer engagement and problem resolution.
Excellent customer, telephone, oral and written communications skills.
Analytical troubleshooting skills.


Technical requirements:
A suitable candidate must demonstrate a good working knowledge of one or more current Microsoft Operating systems, (Windows Server 2000, 2003 and 2008, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Small Business Server 2003/2008, Essential Business Server 2008).

A good working knowledge of Active Directory, Terminal Services, Group Policies and Microsoft Network Technologies also.

The successful candidate should ideally hold at least one or more MCP’s or be studying towards MCSE and/or MCITP qualification although this is not a pre-requisite for this role.

Must have a keen interest in Technology with a strong desire to continually learn the latest technologies.

A suitable candidate must have a very strong customer orientated focus.
