Development Tools Systems Administrator

Excellent career opportunity for an engineer / systems administrator to manage and support internal development systems for a hugely successful and highly regarded Software development company focused on SaaS solutions.

These systems are all part of a suite of tools from Atlassian including; JIRA, Confluence, Fisheye, Crucible and Bamboo.

In this role you will be responsible for administration and configuration for these products, as well as maintenance and implementation for new products and upgrades. This role also includes support for the community of users who rely upon the Atlassian products for their daily work.

This is an outstanding US company who are rapidly becoming a world leading SaaS company and have a Dublin operation of 40 people and growing significantly.

Role / opportunity:

  • System Administration of development systems
  • Working with tools from Atlassian (JIRA, Confluence, Fisheye, Crucible and Bamboo)
  • Managing source code tools and continuous integration tools

Skills / experience:

  • Experience managing source code tools and continuous integration tools helpful but not required.
  • Experience with Fisheye, Crucible and/or Bamboo a plus.
  • 3+ years experience administrating, implementing, and using bug tracking and document management tools. Experience with JIRA and/or Confluence a plus.
  • Good written and verbal communications.
  • Support internal users.
  • Support for disaster recovery planning and testing.
  • Documenting current infrastructure and proposing improvements.
  • Implementation of Crowd, the single sign-on solution from Atlassian.
  • Planning and executing upgrades for Atlassian systems.
  • Reviewing prioritized backlog for internal Atlassian requests and resolving Blocker and Critical requests.
