Position Title: Editorial Lead.

Our client a leading global company  is seeking an Editorial Lead to administer and supervise a global network of Search Editors. The role involves the efficient coordination of project assignments throughout the Search Editorial team to ensure successful delivery of projects to meet customer expectations

The Editorial Lead will:

- Manage a team of global editors, associated workload, assignments and coordinate all team activities to deliver tasks to schedule, meeting customer specifications- Manage communication channels relevant to the task and provide internal and external stakeholders with timely and regular progress updates

- Monitor and manage team productivity, quality and provide project support to In-market editors

- Ability to write detailed project documentation such as Project Plans, Guidelines, Schedules, and Post-productions reports in a clear and concise manner

- Ensure that issues recorded within any market are flagged and corrective action is leveraged to other markets and that urgent issues are prioritized and escalated to the appropriate channels

- Manage customer satisfaction, continuously building the relationship between yourself and the customer.

- Ensure that any customer process and data quality issues are appropriately and promptly addressed by identifying the source and root cause of the issues, followed by determination of improvements or corrective actions required to address such issues effectively

- Identify and pursue innovative techniques to increase productivity and responsiveness.

Skills & Experience:

· 3+ years experience in IT with team/project management experience essential · Strong attention to detail, analytical skills and excellent communication are essential · Ability to collect, organize, interpret, and classify market-specific information Experienced internet user in the following areas:o Web content awareness (e.g. portals, search engines, shopping)o Ability to conduct in-depth research using online resources

· The ability to command respect and to create a sense of community amongst members of the team· Proficient with Microsoft Office applications

· Writing and Editorial experience an advantage

· XML Experience and/or Scripting (Perl, PHP) an advantage

· Fluency in a second European language desirable

· Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality with proprietary information

Educational Requirements:

B. Sc. / B. A. / Dip. Qualification in Computer Science or IT/Business related discipline

Formal training/qualification in Information Management/Science/Librarianship preferred
