Front office trading Software Developer

Excellent opportunity to join the Dublin trading team which are part of a large scale international banking group as a software engineer building solutions in the front office trading environment. The technical focus is C# but a C++ or Java background is also of interest.

Working with the traders to build applications in this high energy environment requires someone with previous experience of trading environments as well as strong problem solving skills and the ability to build rapid technical solutions. You will take projects through the complete software development life cycle and be responsible for designing applications that will form part of a larger systems solution.

Skills / experience:

  • 4+ years Software Engineering of OO solutions
  • C# or C++ or Java Windows platform programming
  • You should have some experience of working in a trading environment
  • Strong mathematical and problem solving ability

Package:

  • 60-80K base salary + excellent benefits and bonus
