An excellent opportunity now exists for 2 graduates/junior Technical Support Professionals, to work for one of the worlds largest organisations based in their European Head Quarters in Dublin West. (French Speaking only)
Our Clients is a major multi national blue chip organisation within the IT Sector, their European Head Quarters based in West Dublin with there further satellite offices based throughout the country. They are currently looking to expand their European operation by adding a graduate Technical Support Professional to work within the French market based in West Dublin.
We’re looking for a Graduate Technical Support Professional who can provide quality support for our clients products with a high degree of customer satisfaction, technical expertise and timeliness. The position has frequent contact with customers, peers and managers and may also have contact with independent software vendors and distributors.
We’re looking for a Technical Support Professional ideally speaking fluent in both French & German, who can:
• Provide expert and creative solutions to user problems and ensure user satisfaction and productivity
• Liaise with other support personnel and development staff in order to achieve a timely solution to bugs and problems within our clients Rational products
• Communicate directly with customers on Enterprise Architect and modelling issues
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and respond promptly to incoming product issues that can be highly sophisticated and complex in nature
• Escalate difficult or unresolvable issues to development.
• Provide support in accordance with current standards and service level objectives
• Acquire and maintain knowledge of relevant product offerings, current support policies, and methods of support delivery, in order to provide technically accurate solutions to users
• Work with other of our clients departments to solve technical issues as needed.
• Recognise and escalated critical problems
• Assist other support engineers in support of complex issues when required
• Contribute to the development of a technical knowledge base
• Work as an active team member providing ongoing feedback and suggestions for improvement.
• Provide updates to customers and management on open cases
Requirements
· Computer Science degree or equivalent qualified
· Understanding of SQL Server and Oracle desirable
· Experience with modeling e.g BPMN, UML desirable
· Understanding of Enterprise Architecture desirable
· Knowledge of various Windows platforms: XP, Vista.
· Knowledge of Linux desirable
· Basic IT-management skills desirable
· Experience of working in a support environment desirable
· Experience of working in a multi-cultural environment desirable
· Ideally fluent in English, French & German
