Implementation Engineer Contract

New opportunity for a technical consultant with a broad technical background and experience of implementing software applications for external clients. This is initially a contract role which may move into a permanent position in time.

The role is to work on site with customers across Europe deploying robust and technically complex IT products and working through any issues or incidence that arise in this process.

Role / opportunity:

  • Technical implementation of enterprise applications
  • Working with leading European tier one companies
  • Integration of robust complex IT solutions
  • Java Oracle Unix Web services technical environment
  • Rolling contract opportunity
  • Delivering client workshops
  • Deploying applications

Skills / experience:

  • 5+ years commercial software implementation experience
  • Ability to deal with the unexpected
  • Java Oracle Unix Web services technical capability
  • Solid infrastructure understanding to be able to define infrastructure requirements
  • Performance tuning applications
  • Escalation of technical challenges
  • Transfer knowledge to the client
