Infrastructure Architect
Great freedom for an experienced infrastructure architect who is both a hands-on engineer as well as a project manager to redesign and redeploy a full enterprise architecture with a company that have a major capital investment over the next number of years and you will have the opportunity to take a leading role in this.
You need to be able to architect hardware solutions, WAN, SAN, Servers, switches, identify projects and opportunities for improvement, project manage planned and adhoc projects, lead less experienced engineers.
This is a predominately a project driven role with a small portion of support for problems that are escalated from the deskside support team.

Role / opportunity:
• Global Infrastructure Architecture role
• Designing and deploying Greenfield infrastructure solutions
• Projects WAN, SAN, P2V, VoIP, Switching
• Environments; HP-UX, AIX, Oracle
• Working with internal engineers and external vendors

Skills / experience:
• 8+ years commercial experience
• Experience of architecting large scale robust infrastructure solutions
• Must have a strong VMware background
• Proven in Project Managing infrastructure projects
