Investment Banking Senior Business Analyst

Senior BA role for an experience Business Analyst with a strong background in investment banking business and systems. Exposure to trading or Fixed Income products (Asset Backed Securities, Corporate Bonds, Commercial Loans, RMBS or CMBS) or Swaps (Interest Rate, Currency or Basis), FRAs, MTN’s or Commercial Paper.

This is a senior position within a dedicated team of BA’s liaising between the business and IT groups supporting and enhancing proprietary trading system and reporting systems. You will drive requirement gathering & documentation through BRD’s, creating functional and technical specifications, working hand in hand with technical teams and business teams, testing, UAT & defect management.

This position requires knowledge of Misys Summit FT.

Skills / experience:

  • 8+ years commercial Business Analysis experience
  • 4+ years working in investment banking environment
  • Experience with Misys Summit FT
  • Strong background with trading or Fixed Income products (Asset Backed Securities, Corporate Bonds, Commercial Loans, RMBS or CMBS) or Swaps (Interest Rate, Currency or Basis), FRAs, MTN’s or Commercial Paper.
  • Strong knowledge of the SWDLC
  • Project Management skills
