IT Manager / Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer
New opportunity for an IT Manager / hands-on IT engineer to take on a technical hands-on role which will progress towards a management role within a leading international bank. In this role you will be coordinating network engineer groups and project managing the Irish arm of group wide projects as well as lending a hand technically as necessary.
This is a 2 year fixed term contract which is very likely to lead to a career within this organisation at a Project Management level.

Role / opportunity:
• Technical Project Management
• Network engineering
• Managing day to day Networking systems for Ireland
• Engineer, implement and support technical solutions
• Specify and select IT systems
• Support all projects within the group providing technical resource as needed
• Troubleshoot technical problems
• Work with management to help drive a cost effective service.
• Working with external vendors

Skills / experience:
• 7+ years commercial experience
• 4+ years Project Management experience with infrastructure projects
• Proven experience of; creating RFP’s, selecting vendors, managing external vendors, improving technical processes.
• ITIL Qualification, Prince 2 (or another project management qualification) would be beneficial
