Job Description

This is a pivotal role within the start-up phase of the Irish division of an established multinational organisation. The main purpose of this role is to manage the contractual relationship with suppliers ensuring that service level agreements are met and to lead dispute resolution and renegotiation of terms as necessary

Roles/Responsibilities

  • Work with the global Vendor Management team / central Operations team to define contractual and service level agreements with suppliers
  • Identify and implement an analytical system to validate the quality of the service being provided by the suppliers to support performance management and forecasting
  • Coordinate a program of audits of suppliers to ensure that procedures and processes are being carried out correctly
  • Manage supplier costs by forecasting costs and processing invoices.
  • Forecast Customer Support, Delivery and Data Acquisition volumes on a yearly, and rolling 3 month basis
  • Work with the Global Vendor Management team on quality assurance
  • Manage supplier and team resource utilization to achieve optimal financial goals (balancing cost and revenue) while managing elements of the overall financial plan

Skills/Experience

  • 5 + years of related vendor management experience
  • Good knowledge of large scale business process outsourcing transactions including offshoring in the areas of call centre technology and product delivery
  • Understanding of financial proforma - must be have demonstrated strong P&L management experience
  • Good knowledge of all key Delivery, Data Acquisition and Customer Support infrastructure and processes
  • Strong MS Excel skills for data manipulation and analysis

Education / Professional Qualifications

  • Qualified to Degree level in any IT / Business related discipline

  • Ability to develop excellent working relationships and work closely with data suppliers and data processors and other Operations team members
