IT Support Analyst
Joining an established technical support group as a 2nd line support engineer taking on escalated issues from the help desk and following through to resolution. This will involve a mixed bag of support tickets from networking to ITIL Service Support disciplines.
Working in an entirely Microsoft environment you should have solid Windows desktop skills and any prior exposure to Windows server would be beneficial.
Role / opportunity:
- Dublin city centre based role
- Mix of IT support and project based work
- MS Windows environment, Windows desktop and Windows Server
- PC and application set up and configuration
- Assisting junior team members
- 6 month rolling contract
Skills / experience:
- 4+ years commercial experience
- 2+ years in similar 2nd line support role
- Good Windows XP & Desktop Support skills
- Exposure to Windows server
- Good MS Office experience
- The client will not consider someone who has only worked on a help desk
Package:
- Daily rate contract of €180-240 per day
