Java Developer building Integration components

Working within a technically strong development team as a Java XML web services developer building robust powerful integration components. Using standards-based integration technologies and toolset to expand the company’s business offering through the delivery of quality integration components.

This position offers the opportunity to drive the design, development, and delivery of complex Java based applications. You should be passionate about innovative software development, eager to learn about cutting-edge technologies, and have proven ability to deliver quality software.

Role / opportunity:

  • Java, XML, Spring, Hibernate software development
  • Scoping and design of new products and features in conjunction with product management.
  • Scheduling and estimation of software project tasks.
  • Software components design and development.
  • Participation in development of the integration team, contributing to reviews of methodologies, standards, and processes.
  • Comprehensive internal documentation of designs and product components.
  • Resolution of defects in response to escalated support issues.
  • Agile Development environment

Skills /experience:

  • 5+ years commercial Java development
  • Strong object orientated background, knowledge of API’s, Spring, Hibernate
  • Strong XML, XML Schema, XQuery, XSLT, XPath
  • Relational Databases & SQL
  • Exposure to JSP, JavaScript, Struts, JSTL, JGO, JQuery, scriptaculous, Cewolf is a bonus
