Java J2EE Senior developer / architect

Senior role within a newly establish development team 6 developers having an input into at the architecture phase of each project while also tackling the more challenging development tasks and mentoring less experienced programmers.

This role is working with a highly successful international software development company with a real commitment to quality and embracing new technologies wherever possible.

Working on server side enterprise application development projects you will take the lead in the design and development of EJB Spring Eclipse Hibernate Applications server (Weblogic/ Tomcat/ Websphere) projects.

You should have a strong background of working on large scale projects as a senior programmer or technical architect and be comfortable contributing at a hands-on development level as well as design.

Skills / experience:

  • 8+ years commercial Java development
  • Must have strong experience of large scale server side application development
  • Strong experience with; Java, J2EE, EJB, JMS, JMX, JUnit, JMeter, Hibernate
  • Experience with; Spring, Eclips, Linux is of benefit
