Java open source architect/developer

Building integration components with a world leading SaaS company with a growing development team in Dublin. This role is working at the cutting edge of technology where innovation and new ideas are welcomed.

You should have strong core Java skills, XML, XSLT, web service, middleware skills and have an interest in building integration components between a SaaS solution and external systems.

Role / opportunity:

  • Designing and developing new integration products and features
  • Working in a cutting-edge SaaS technical environment
  • Building complex components using web services standards (WSDL, SOAP, BPEL etc)
  • Applying XML standards (XML Schema, XSLT, STX, DOM, SAX etc)
  • Documentation of design and product components
  • Defect resolution of new products
  • Open source development environment

Skills / experience:

  • 5+ years commercial core Java programming
  • Thorough knowledge of XML XSLT etc
  • Strong Web services & middleware experience
  • Previous usage of Eclipse IDE
  • Java Certification would be a bonus
