Junior Java Software Engineer
New Java development position for a programmer with 3+ years commercial Java development experience to join a software house based in Dublin city centre. In this role you will work on large scale development projects and have the opportunity to learn. Improving your core java development skills and broadening your experience across the J2EE which working on n-tiered applications at the front end, middle tier and back end.

This is a newly created position with a long standing Irish software company that have an established product range that is continuously being improved upon and also build bespoke applications for blue chip clients.

Role / opportunity:
• Java 1.4 Development
• Working on Product development and building bespoke applications
• Core Java programming
• Chance to gain experience with EJB 2.X, AJX, JavaScript, Struts, Spring, Hibernate, JSF, ORM Framworks, Tomcat, WebSphere, Weblogic and more
• Web and client server development projects
• Working on large scale, complex software development projects
• Chance to gain experience with technologies like Spring & Hibernate

Skills / experience:
• 3+ years commercial experience
• Solid understanding of Java development
• Java 1.4, EJB, AJAX, JavaScript experience would all be of interest
• Any exposure to Oracle, Netweaver AS Java would be a bonus
• Desire to learn and grow
