Junior Technical Business Analyst

This is a new financial service business being created with a need for someone with solid VBA, Excel, Word, Access skills and experience, and a desire to develop your career as an IT programmer or support engineer.

In this role you will be working with the business to help automate reporting, by creating Excel and Word solutions, working with VBA and MS Access. You will also tackle some desk side PC support issues and become involved in HTML, CSS, JavaScript development projects.

This is a position with huge variety on a day to day basis and will offer massive carer progression opportunities.

Role / opportunity:

  • VBA Excel Word Access programming and reporting
  • Supporting business applications
  • Finding workarounds and creating short term fixes
  • Technical support of PC’s, printers etc
  • Floor walking support
  • Chance to become involved in web based programming

Skills / experience:

  • 2+ years commercial experience
  • Strong Excel and Word skills
  • Experience of helping to create with financial reports and annual statements or similar in Excel
  • Experience with VBA and Access
  • Must enjoy working through problems and exploring technologies and not be phased by what you don’t know.
  • A desire to learn and tackle new technical challenges on a daily basis
