M-commerce Innovation Portfolio Manager
Working in a world leading technology corporation with a huge emphasis on innovation of the next generation concepts, ideas, tools and the practical application of new thinking. This role is acting as the conduit between highly innovative and ground breaking software development teams, business internal business teams (seeking practical application) and senior management / executives.
This role will work in two directions; there is the application of the new technology innovations (creating business cases, bending tools and ideas to fit business purposes, helping to define revenue models for the innovated software) and there is also taking business ideas and innovating around them (working with business leaders to develop ideas and pilot initiatives in line with innovation programmes).
One of the key success factors of this role is establishing and improving the communication process between all parties in order to ensure initiatives are successful.

Role / opportunity:
• Working closely with technology innovation teams and understanding new concepts and thinking
• Working closely with the business audience to ensure practical application of innovated software
• Gain insightful understanding of business needs and desires
• Aid and nurture the development of new initiatives and innovations
• Collaborate with industry leaders across all business sectors to exchange thinking and ideas
• Business portfolio management
• Aid the business cases for commercialisation of innovations

Skills / experience:
• 10+ years commercial experience
• Strong Project Management, Change Management and Business Analysis skills
• 6+ years of strategic planning, portfolio management of similar
• Strong knowledge of wireless technologies, including technology product strategy
• Musty be comfortable working in a role with large amounts of ambiguity
• Proven ability to act as an agent of change
• Experience of software innovation is an advantage
