They seek an ambitious Maths graduate looking for a position in Software Testing.

The Job:

 

As a QA Engineer you will have responsibility for:

 

  • Gathering of business and technical specifications from the Business Analyst (BA), preparing and designing test plans to be agreed with the BA and QA Team Leader
  • Continuous liaison with the Business Analyst and QA Team Leader to ensure ratification of test scripts during preparation
  • Extensive test execution and close cooperation with the development team
  • Defect tracking, allocation and follow up of defect fixes with the development team
  • Testing of defect fixes and of all functional and technical aspects of the product to ensure that their high quality standard is maintained
  • Designing and executing different types of test cases, Regression, Performance, Functional, Negative, Walk-through etc
  • To work closely with the Documentation Team to prepare user guide and release note documentation
  • To continuously maintain and update Test Plans
  • To report progress of testing activities to the QA Team Leader

 

To be considered:

 

  • Degree in Mathematics/Statistics ONLY
  • Some commercial experience in Software Testing
  • An interest in Quality Assurance
