Microsoft SQL Server Database Administrator

New contract opportunity with a pioneering and technically progressive financial software development company as a lead SQL Server DBA. Working with a team of experienced technical engineers who are building financial services products.

You will be an experienced DBA, with the capability of designing and enhancing complex and scalable systems with substantial load.

Role / opportunity:

  • SQL Server Database Administration
  • System analysis & trouble shooting
  • Performance tuning and optimisation
  • Take ownership of the database enhancements and maintenance
  • Dublin based contract role

Skills / experience:

  • 5+ years SQL Server DBA experience
  • Experience of supporting large scale complex databases SQL Server databases
  • Thorough knowledge of T-SQL and SQL scripting
