New Project Manager position with bank
New Project Management role for a strong PM with a background of delivering software solutions in the banking arena.
Global trade dynamics are changing and moving away from traditional trade products thus demanding new solutions and tools, this role is focused on the delivery of those systems to the business.
This role is working within a global banking organisation and will suit someone that has some exposure to operations as well as IT on top of 5+ years project management experience.
Managing globally distributed external vendors, defining project parameters and project plan for sign off then delivery of projects will be expected of the person in this role. Working closely with BA’s to clearly define the project parameters and deliverables.

Role / opportunity:
• Project Management of IT system development & implementation projects
• Defining and planning projects from business concepts
• Gaining business and IT sign off on projects, delivering large scale complex IT projects into business stake holders
• Working closely with business streams of this global banking organisation
• Delivering cross regional projects
• Managing overseas vendor teams

Skills / experience:
• 8+ years commercial experience
• 5+ years managing projects
• Background in the financial services arena
• Experience of managing external vendors

Package:
• Permanent role with strong salary and excellent banking benefits package
• €70-85K (depending on experience) + bonus + pensions + health insurance + sundries
