Novell Netware Administrator required for Leading IT company based in Czech Republic.

As a Novell Netware administrator you will be required to have network and server administration experience.

Typical activities:
- Install the server operating system, system management software and operating system utilities
- Support the server operating system, system management software and operating system utilities, including upgrades
- Manage the operating system configuration
- Manage file systems and print queues
- Monitor and maintain operating system log files
- Recommend operating system updates and configuration modification
- Apply operating system patches as required
- Maintain tools for remote management and alert monitoring
- Maintain the hardware and software configuration server information
- Manage System ID’s and domain structure
- Evaluate planned changes to the server environment and advise of any requirements to support such changes
- Provide system health check and trending reports (e.g. CPU, RAM, HDD)

Experience:
+Server administration (health checking, ArcServe & TSM backup administration)
+Network services (DNS, DHCP, SLP) under Novell servers
+Assistance to user administration support group for user/group creation
+Assistance to workstation administration support group
+NDS administration
+Print queue administration
+Software package deployment (Zenworks 4 and 7)
+Antivirus signature package support
+Problem and change management
+Performance management
+Participation to project activities like servers build, data migration etc.

Required:
Bachelor’s Degree
At least 2 years experience in Server administration (health checking, ArcServe and TSM backup administration)
At least 2 years experience in Network services (DNS, DHCP, SLP) under Novell servers
At least 2 years experience in Assistance to user administration support group for user/group creation
At least 2 years experience in Assistance to workstation administration support group
English: Fluent
