Oracle Database Administrator/Developer/Designer
This role is focused on designing relational databases at a logical level and suited to someone with either an Oracle or SQL Server or Sybase background with development DBA experience and having a clear understanding of how to design databases.

The company is a global corporation who are creating a new technology centre in Dublin and this role sits within a new architecture team. In this role you will design databases and then work with an external development partner to ensure they build database solutions in line with your thinking.

You will be working with data modeling tools in this role so a knowledge of Oracle Designer or Erwin or Data Architect or something similar would be beneficial.

Role / opportunity:
• Database design coming from a development DBA background
• Working with data modeling tool
• Developer, Visio, Oracle Designer, Power Designer or similar
• Working with external software development service provider
• Quality checking work from service provider
• Working through problems and issues in a collaborative fashion

Skills / experience:
• 5+ years commercial experience with Oracle or SQL Server or Sybase
• Strong SQL skills
• Experience with TOAD or Oracle Designer or Erwin or Data Architect or similar
• Experience as a Development DBA or Database Designer or Database Architect, or Data Engineer
• Understanding of core principles of database design, such as; normalisation, table structure, referential integrity, data integrity, relationships, foreign key constraints
