Oracle DBA

Excellent opportunity for an experienced Oracle Database Administrator with Oracle 8i, 9i and 10i experience. You should have extensive experience of installing, maintaining and tuning Oracle databases and any exposure to other relational (Sybase, MySQL, Ingres) databases is an advantage.

This role is providing ongoing support across a number of relational databases in front and back office environments managing large scale Oracle databases. Providing database maintenance, installation, performance tuning, backup and batch monitoring.

Role / opportunity:

  • Oracle DBA (Oracle 8i 9i 10i)
  • Maintenance of large scale Oracle Databases
  • Database maintenance, installation, performance tuning, backup and batch monitoring
  • Exposure to Sybase, MySQL, Ingress databases

Skills / experience:

  • 4-8 years Oracle Database Administration
  • Oracle 8i, 9i and 10i experience
  • Unix, AIX, Solaris administration
  • Experience in installing, tuning maintaining Ingres, Sybase and Mysql relational databases would be an advantage.
  • Good communication and documentation skills
