The Telesales Representative will be working within a European Team and be responsible for converting sales leads (primarily outbound qualified leads) into revenue generating sales through the encouragement of the use of the PayPal service most suited to the merchants (off eBay Merchants) business. The SMB Representative is seen as a product expert, reference point for best practice integration, reference point for medium sized Merchants wishing to use PayPal as an alternative payment method as well as a reference point within our client  for generating higher revenue producing Merchants.

The Representative will work under general supervision but will have a certain degree of creativity and latitude.

  • Previous sales experience an advantage
  • Basic computer skills such as MS outlook and windows as well as typing skills

A. Experience

4+ years related experience including:

1. A minimum of four years experience in one or more of the following areas a plus: internet company, financial institution, payments processor or telemarketing firm

2. Experience using Microsoft Office products including: Visio, Web Accept, Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Experience using an SFA system such as Gold Mine, ACT, Siebel or SalesForce.com also a plus

3. Excellent oral and written communication experience

4. Fluent in English - 2nd European language
