Product Manager / Commercialisation Manager Public Sector €120-140K base ++
Senior Management level role to drive the commercialization of ideas and innovations aimed at the global public sector market. This is a role aimed at innovation for the cities of the future on a global scale (not the Irish Public Sector).
Working closely with business and IT teams taking concepts from inception through to a commercial proposition, making failure calls on ideas and recommending a course of action which may lead to a full blown innovation depending on the commercial application of ideas.
Working for a world leading corporation in the R&D space you must be able to embrace the passion of new ideas while continuously focusing on the commercialization of those ideas and be comfortable standing over decisions affecting a portfolio of hundreds of millions of dollars.
This is a high profile position with a global heavy weight corporate where you will have a meteoric career path on the back of real business results.

Role / opportunity:
• Senior Management level role

• Creating sound business cases and business plans for new ideas
• Rapidly understand the market opportunity, competition commercial benefits and risks of new ideas
• Defining business models around new ideas
• Managing P&L of €100 million plus budgets
• Working closely with customers, partners, alliances

Skills / experience:
• 10+ years commercial experience
• Strategic planning, commercialization,
• Experience of working in Product Management / Product Innovation is important
• Program Management / Portfolio Management / Change Management
• Experience of product development for Public Sector / cities of the future
• You must be a hands on action lead character not only a manager and delegator
• Demonstrate the ability to make big decisions
• You should be measured character, with substance, able stand up to scrutiny and make major educated judgments
