Product Manager Telecoms software

Excellent permanent opportunity for an experienced professional services consultant with first-hand experience in the design and launch of software services and Web/Telecom applications. Working with external clients and gathering market information and trends to understand the need and co-ordinating with internal teams; engineering, product marketing, UI design and QA to produce software solutions in lines the client needs and ahead of expectations.

Role / opportunity:

  • Working as part of a dedicated team to maintain the highest possible level of market intelligence and opportunity identification
  • Understanding the needs of the market and future direction of products
  • Defining product vision / strategy
  • Creating business cases for new products development
  • Working closely with internal teams especially IT development
  • Working closely with Product Marketing to develop product pricing models

Skills / experience:

  • 7+ years commercial experience
  • 5+ years experience with software development company in the web or telecoms arena
  • 3+ years Product Management experience
  • Proven experience of gathering requirements and understanding market trends
  • Demonstratable ability to create product vision
  • Strong customer facing skills
