Responsibilities include:

  • Scoping, costing, scheduling, and managing projects through full project lifecycle.
  • Risk assessment and contingency planning
  • Creating metrics, monitoring progress and submitting reports
  • Managing and communicating with customer and stake holders
  • Troubleshooting and issue resolution
  • Project analysis and tread forecasting
  • Managing project teams
  • Contributing to performance management matrix
  • Contributing to process and product improvement.

Requirements:

  • Experience in managing all stages on a project lifecycle and from inception to final delivery
  • Comfortable with effective, and effective at interacting with senior management and customers
  • You have proven track record of project delivery on time and to budget
  • You have evidence of strong communication skills, written and verbal
  • Have the ability to prioritise task and appropriately based on commercial acumen and resource realities.
  • Have evidence of taking the initiative within a team environment
  • You have effective and proven organisation, time management and interpersonal skills
  • Provide and actively seek regular feedback from managers and other individuals involved in projects
  • Must have enthusiasm and commitment to delivering quality results to tight deadlines
  • Perform well under pressure
  • You have well developed approach to problem solving and decision making
  • Proven experience in applying formal project management in methodologies in a dynamic working environment
  • Expert in the office application, especially Excel, and MS project
  • You have tacit knowledge and understanding of software development and deployment
  • Min 4 years project manager experience
  • Min 2 years in software industry
  • Preferable in an e learning environment.

Qualifications.

  • 3rd level qualification, preferably in project management.

This role is a six month fixed term contract.
