The Project Manager works closely with the sales team and all internal operational groups to manage new client sites from presales through to site launch. In this role, the Project Manager is responsible for working with the client to establish the scope, budget and timeline of the project and manage to them throughout the implementation. The profile of client the Project Manager will typically manage is standard with some customization or complex in nature.

Responsibilities

Work with internal and external clients to define project requirements

Produce scope documentation for projects and manage to it throughout project lifecycle

Assist the sales team in acquiring clients by providing insight on system functionality and project management methodologies

Manage the project budget and specifications to ensure project goals are met on time and on budget while satisfying client expectations

Manage multiple key projects at a time, with accountability to prioritize work and ensure all project timelines are met

Manage risks and issues effectively by resolving or escalating to the appropriate individuals

Monitor project progress and report performance against plan

Manage change control process

Maintain project documentation according to team methodology (risk and issue log, project plan, change control, status reports, etc)

Facilitate internal and client project meetings and provide meeting minutes

Desired skills:

BA or BS in business or related field or equivalent experience

3-5 years direct experience as a project manager on ecommerce or internet related projects

Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously

Proven ability to get results in a complex, often ambiguous environment

Proven business requirements gathering skills

Good verbal and written communication, relationship building and interpersonal skills

Good organizational skills

Strong technical aptitude

Ability to explain technical concepts to all audiences within all levels of an organization

Strong team contribution and interaction; positive team member

Flexibility to travel, both domestic and international
