Project Manager - FS

Challenging new Project Management role for a positive, energetic and enthusiastic PM who has some experience in the financial services arena, a clear approach / methodology and experience of managing external vendors as well as internal teams in order to deliver business critical software solutions.

This is a position with a dynamic financial services company who look for straight talking people who are able to get the job done with minimal fuss and have a track record of delivery. This is a high profile project and suited to someone who knows how to manage relationships with external vendors.

Role / opportunity:

  • Project Manager
  • New project to be planned, and run from cradle to grave
  • Managing external software vendors
  • Managing internal technical teams
  • Working through the full SWDLC including testing and integration
  • High profile project offering exposure to senior executive team

Skills / experience:

  • 7+ years commercial experience
  • Clearly defined Project Management methodology such as Prince or PMP
  • Strong understanding of SWDLC
  • Business Analysis background would be of interest but not a pre-requisite
  • Financial Services exposure is of particular interest for this role
