QA Specialist- Dublin 15

The successful candidate will have to define and execute complex test scenarios on various Linux, AIX and Windows platforms in a distributed, multi-partition environment to ensure the overall system:

1. Remains stable under high stress and high volume conditions.
2. Interacts and integrates seamlessly into multi-product, multi-interface customer solutions.
3. Maximizes data availability during unplanned and planned outages.

Execution of scenarios also involves setting up the test environment as well as building a large database, setting up clients to access the server and hardware administration.

The successful candidate will have:

- SQL skill and knowledge of relational databases
- Has strong Programming skills in one of C++, .NET, Java
- Knowledge in one or more of the following operating systems: Windows, AIX, Linux, HP-UX, Solaris
- Knowledge in one or more of the following applications: WebSphere Application Server, InfoSphere Warehouse, Cognos Software
- Background in principles of Software Engineering and formal methods in Software Testing and Automation
-Experience in building and testing large, multi-product, integrated solutions

Required skills:

Bachelor’s Degree & Master’s Degree in Information Technology
Min of 3 years experience in Quality Assurance role
