Senior Business Analyst Investmnt Bankng

New Business Analysis position with an expanding trading / investment banking corporation based in Dublin city centre. This position required someone to have trading / investment banking experience and specifically Misys Summit FT system experience.

Working as the bridge between internal development teams and the business you will assist the existing business analysis team to enhance existing systems and processes.

This position requires someone with solid experience and will involve; requirement gathering & documentation, liaison with technical staff and business users, testing, UAT and defect management, maintaining project task list and ensuring the projects adhere to the SDLC(Software Development Life Cycle) standards within the bank.

Skills / experience:

  • 4+ years commercial Business Analysis experience
  • Strong documentation skills. Must be able to clearly document and organise user requirements.
  • Experience with Summit FT (Misys system)
  • Proven track record as a business analyst on at least one large-scale systems project.
  • Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle, especially:- Analysis, requirements gathering, specification development, modeling and application testing phases.
  • Excellent communication and information gathering skills.
  • Exposure to Fixed Income portfolios or structured finance vehicles.
  • A good understanding of Fixed Income products e.g. Asset Backed Securities, Corporate Bonds, Commercial Loans, RMBS or CMBS.
  • Understanding of Swaps, FRAs, MTN’s or Commercial Paper would be an advantage
