Senior Core Java EJB developer / designer

Senior development & designing position within a rapidly growing software development group of 10 software engineers. The company are a large scale financial services focused organisation. Working closely with the architecture group you will contribute to the design of very large scale enterprise applications and take on the more challenging coding projects.

Working in an Agile SCRUM development environment focusing on the creation of server side applications using Java, EJB, JUnit, JMeter, Hibernate, Application Server (Weblogic / Tomcat / Websphere) , Spring, Eclipse.

Taking this leading role amongst a technically experienced team of programmers you must be a strong engineer and be able to offer guidance and mentoring to less experience team members.

Role / opportunity:

  • Senior design and programming role
  • Core Java EJB experience building enterprise applications
  • Large scale server side software development
  • Technical environment: Java EJB JMS JMX JUnit JMeter Hibernate Spring Application Server
  • Technical design, design patterns, UML
  • Agile SCRUM development environment

Skills / experience:

  • 8+ years commercial Java development
  • 1+ year design experience
  • Must have strong experience of large scale server side application development
  • Must be strong with; Java, EJB, JMS
  • Experience with; Hibernate, Spring, Eclipse, Linux is of benefit

Package:

  • €60K-75K + pension + health insurance + bonus
