Senior Developer/Technical Architect

This is a superb new position in a newly formed architecture group within one of the world’s foremost financial services corporations and offers the opportunity for an aspiring Technical Architect with a strong Java design and development background to gain experience at an Enterprise Architecture level.

This role is suited to someone looking to progress their career in a dynamic working environment where you will move away from hands-on coding and act as a solution architect on a project by project basis while being introduced to enterprise architecture principles.

You will join a architecture team of 4 and have the opportunity to contribute at all levels of building Greenfield Web 2.0 applications and re-useable components for web and client server applications.

Skills / Experience:

  • 3+ years as a Technical Architect / Systems Architect / Solution Architect / Software Architect
  • 7+ years commercial software experience
  • Java J2EE technical background would be most appropriate
  • Experience of building scalable robust web based solutions
  • Experience of Telecoms billing systems would be of interest although not a pre-requisite
