The objective of the Microsoft Core Systems Analyst is to resolve remote users IT problems by means of a Remote fix. The Microsoft Core Systems Analyst (MCSA) responds to both internal and external clients needing technical support. A fluency in Dutch is required as well as strong English skills.

Main Responsibilities:

MCSAs validate customer entitlements and give high level technical support through information gathering, analytical trouble shooting and problem research.

Resolves customer issues using the tools and systems available
Completes follow-on actions as appropriate, e.g. dispatch materials, send communications, escalate problems.
Retains ownership of each case until problem is resolved or resolution is identified
Observes strict compliance to licensing, copyright and trademark legislation
Protects confidential, sensitive information and materials
Accomplishes other duties as required

Technical requirements

A suitable candidate must demonstrate a good working knowledge of one or more current Microsoft Operating systems, (Windows Server 2000, 2003 and 2008, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Small Business Server 2003/2008, Essential Business Server 2008). S/he has a good working knowledge of Active Directory, Terminal Services, Group Policies and Microsoft Network Technologies also.
The successful candidate should ideally hold at least one or more MCP’s or be studying towards MCSE and/or MCITP qualification although this is not a pre-requisite for this role.

S/he must have a keen interest in Technology with a strong desire to continually learn the latest technologies. A suitable candidate must have a very strong customer orientated focus. S/he will also have expertise in all of the following:

- Windows Server 2000, 2003 and 2008, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Small Business Server 2003/2008, Essential Business Server 2008 Active Directory, Terminal Services, Group Policies and Microsoft Network Technologies

Experience

A minimum of 2 years + experience in IT Systems Administration and/or remote support is preferable.
