Service Delivery Specialist - Insurance / Life & Pensions

Immediate opportunity with a new Life and Pensions business coming into Ireland for someone with an Insurance or Life & Pensions background and experience of working with external suppliers/vendors who are delivering an IT service into the business. This role is working in a team on the client side to ensure the business teams receive the necessary standard of IT support from external vendors.

The role will involved incident management, problem management, root cause analysis, communication with the business and external IT vendors, working within an ITIL framework.

A typical background you will be coming from could be Systems Analyst or Business Analyst or business / technical support role of some sort within the insurance or life & pensions arena.

Role / opportunity:

  • Service Support /Production Support role
  • Helping to manage the IT support service being delivered by external vendors
  • Working closely with the business to ensure they receive an appropriate IT service
  • Working with external suppliers and vendors to ensure issues are resolved effectively
  • Manage the business team’s expectations
  • Incident Management, Problem Management, Root Cause Analysis
  • Assist external vendors in the resolution of issues where possible

Skills / experience:

  • 4+ years commercial experience
  • 3+ years spent in Insurance or Life & Pensions environments
  • Knowledge of policy admin systems
  • Experience of incident management, problem management, root cause analysis
  • Having worked in an ITIL environment would be a plus
  • Strong communication verbal and written
