Role Responsibilities

Schedules 
Processes & Communications

  • Manage process for software lifecycle including drafting of RFPs, co-ordinating functional lead inputs and sign-off, drafting SOWS, etc.
  • Work with Engineering & QA request for retained teams within agreed time allocation or as soon as requirements are known
  • Manage creation and sign-off for all development and functional specifications
  • Manage release management process and post mortem
  • Develop the Risk Management Plan and manage project risks on an ongoing basis.
  • Follow best practice and process in project delivery with the opportunity to provide value add feedback
  • Co-ordinate in a professional and positive manner with Cross Functional team members to ensure that project deliverables are met
  • Lead project team meetings including agenda setting, minutes etc.

Reporting

  • Immediately escalate any issues that are likely to impact project schedule, budget, scope or quality & provide program manager with proposed options to mitigate or resolve as agreed with project team or relevant functional leads

Requirements:

  • A third level qualification in computer science, education, business or project management, or relevant, significant work experience
  • Minimum of 3 years experience at a similar level in similar/relevant roles within a dynamic, fast moving software delivery environment
  • Strong project management skills - expert at building and tracking project plans in Microsoft project and issue/risk management  
  • Experience at a similar level in similar/relevant roles within the BPO environment
  • Hand on experience with CRM or BPM solutions, delivery and release.
  • Experience in a rapid, high growth environment with ability to take ownership of tasks and see through to conclusion
  • Customer service orientation with ability to manage relationships with internal customers
