Software Development Manager - Banking

Exceptional opportunity for an experienced IT Manager with a strong background in software development (especially in the C# .NET SQL Server technology stack). Working closely with the Hedge Fund business line you will manage enhancements to systems in this business area.

You should have a proven track record of delivering multiple large scale projects, working with offshore development groups and external vendors in a financial services environment (Merchant Bank, Investment Manager, Global Securities)

Skills / experience:

  • 7+ years commercial experience
  • 4+ years as a Software Development Manager in financial services
  • Strong understanding of Funds, Investment Accounting / Global Custody
  • Experience with Reconciliation Tools
  • Excellent stake holder management skills
  • High level knowledge of Microsoft Development Tools (.net, SQL Server, C#)
  • Application architecture skills
  • Experience working with Vendors Software
  • Experience working with Offshore Development Resources
