Software Development Manager Analytics/Transactional

New role being created with a leading international financial organisation to lead the design and development of analytical and transactional systems within the corporate banking arena. You must have a strong technical background and be a proven project manager. Systems to be built will be a mix of Greenfield projects, interfaces to internal and external systems, enhancements to current applications and integration with legacy systems.

As the leader of a brand new software development team you must be a strong character with proven experience of a similar role in a financial services environment.

Role/opportunity:

  • Focus of the development team is to drive efficiencies through pioneering new systems
  • Oversee projects from a technical aspect
  • Take ownership of projects and deliverables as part of a new initiative
  • Build team of strong software engineers

Skills/experience:

  • 10+ years commercial experience
  • Proven background of delivery of large scale application development projects.
  • Experience of corporate banking; transactions/settlements plus banking systems in general are all of interest.
  • You must have a strong development and architectural background
  • Excellent people and communication skills
