Software Development Manager Predictive Analytics
Exciting new pioneering R&D team being set up within the Predictive Analytics area to work for a world leading organisation to focus on some very specific areas of financial services transactional level analytics.
Joining a team that is being pieced together with exceptional mathematicians and technical Architects it will be your role to build a software development team in this area. You should have a proven background within the analytics space and most likely will not be coming from a financial services background.
Experience with SAS, SPSS, Clementine, Data Mining tools etc is expected as well as having come from a technical development /design background.
As the leader of a brand new software development team you must be a strong character with proven experience of a similar role in an analytics environment.
Role / opportunity:
- Software Development Management
- Project Management/Programme Management
- Data analytics projects
- Building analytical software tools
- Oversee projects from a technical aspect
- Build team of strong software engineers
- Exciting and new area of the business which has high visibility at a global level.
- Systems to be built will be a mix of Greenfield projects, interfaces to internal and external systems, enhancements to current applications and integration with legacy systems.
Skills/experience:
- 10+ years commercial experience
- Proven background of delivery of large scale application development projects.
- You must have a strong development and architectural background
- Analytics background using tools such as SAS, SPSS, Clementine, Data Mining
- Excellent people and communication skills
Salary/Package:
- €120K - 150K + excellent benefits and bonus
