Software Project Manager to manage external vendors

Exciting new opportunity for an experienced Project Manager with an IT software delivery background and some financial services experience to lead a software development and implementation program working with external vendors, managing internal teams and taking over all responsibility for the successful delivery of a large scale business critical project.

You will be reporting into the IT Director and presenting status reports at a board level so should be comfortable managing the expectations of senior stake holders and be able to discuss projects as a high level and a detailed level with ease.

This is initially a 1 year fixed term contract.

Role / opportunity:

  • West Dublin based role
  • Working in house to manage external vendors
  • Vendor selection and Management
  • System development, customisation & implementation projects
  • 1 year fixed term contract which is expected to lead into a permanent position

Skills / experience:

  • 5+ years Project Management experience
  • Project Management certification (PMP, Prince2)
  • 3+ years financial service experience
  • Proven experience of managing system development and integration projects
  • Experience of managing external suppliers

Terms:

  • €65-75K basic salary depending on experience
