Software Support Manager - Saudi Arabia

Managing a team of application support engineers supporting payments and banking software and having the responsibility for the delivery of support services and leading all activities related to production bugs/problems.

Taking on a role of Application Support Manager / Technical Support Manager reporting to the Operations manager of this large scale Saudi organisation you will be responsible for the total delivery of support services and has the primary responsibility of leading all activities related to production bugs/problems.

Role / oportunity:

· Software Support Manager

· Saudi Arabia based 3 year contract

· Managing a team of 6 support professional with varying technical backgrounds

· Managing team to support national banking system

· Reporting to the Program/Payments Operations Manager.

· Leading a team of specialists and providing mentoring.

· Providing technical leadership and support for a 7×24 operation.

· Management and resolution Level 1 / Level 2 support issues.

· Vendor management of Level 3 support issues.

· Acting as point of escalation for issues beyond usual scope

· Participating directly in the support operations.

· Liaising with client managers

· Resource management and scheduling

Skills / experience:

· 4+ years commercial experience of application support management role

· Strong technical and management skills extremely important

· Ability to provide direction and motivation

· Solid communication skills

· Previous exposure to Payments or Banking applications

· High energy, positive attitude, professional and mature

· Leadership qualities

· Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, set goals and meet deadlines

Compensation:

· 70-100K depending on experience
