A rare opportunity exists for a Solution Architect to join one of the foremost software solution providers in the Dublin area.

As a Solution Architect you would be responsible for designing and building custom solutions for the finance/insurance industry based on the company’s products. The main product suite is a J2EE web application. Every project requires changes to these applications both in terms of the user interface and the application logic. The task is to implement these changes by utilizing an in-house framework based on Java & JSP.

Integrations are typically the most complex part of a project. They’re used to either push or pull data to or from existing customer systems. The most commonly used protocol is SOAP transported over either HTTP or JMS.

Data conversions are usually implemented in SQL, PL/SQL or some other database technology. A deep understanding of the data model is needed for this particular job. As a solution architect you will need to be familiar with all of these technologies and more.

Skills / Experience

• Solid foundation in developing software systems and software implementatioins
• Experience in an architect/senior systems analyst position
• Experience in developing design phase plans
• Experience with insurance related applications beneficial
• Experience defining integration and migration solutions

Salary / Remuneration: 60,000 - 70,000 + excellent benefits
